Method of Shipment:

U.S. orders are shipped via UPS. We cannot ship to a P.O. Box. To ensure orders are received in a timely manner, please provide us with your full street address and zip code.

No Return Policy:

Due to Health Department regulations, we cannot accept returned items that have had contact with skin, such as thermometers, eye care products and diabetic aids.

Refund Policy:

Merchandise may be exchanged or returned for refund with your original receipt and subject to the conditions listed below. We reserve the right to decline any return or exchange where the product is not in "like-new" condition. "Like-new" means the complete product in the original carton with all equipment, packing, warranties, manuals and accessories.

  • Non-defective, “like-new” merchandise may be returned within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be assessed on the cost of the item excluding tax.
  • Defective merchandise may be exchanged within 30 days of receipt for the same item only.
  • Shipping, handling or delivery charges are NOT refundable.
  • Tax on shipping, handling and delivery charges is also NOT refundable.
  • NO refunds will be given after 30 days from delivery date.

Clearance Items:

  • Clearance items can under NO circumstances be exchanged or returned.
  • We ensure that clearance items are in working condition; therefore, all sales of clearance items are final.

Exchanging/Returning Merchandise:

Before returning any item, please call us at (216) 791-8118, ext. 4667 or toll free at (877) 776-9563, ext. 4667 Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:30 am – 4:30 pm (EST), or contact us via email at shop@clevelandsightcenter.org. Often, we can be of assistance in identifying and/or correcting problems which do not require item(s) to be returned. Credits are issued according to our REFUND POLICY stated above.

Restocking Fee:

The Eyedea Shop charges a 15% restocking fee to encourage you to only purchase items you intend to keep.

Shipping & Handling:

Shipping & Handling charges are assessed according to the total dollar amount of your purchase, excluding tax. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands will be charged an additional $20.00 over and above the standard shipping and handling charges incurred (please refer to our S/H fee schedule). Select items including desktop digital magnifiers and all floor lamps have special shipping charges as indicated (*, **).

International Shipments:

Online orders indicating shipment to an international address cannot be honored at this time.

Desktop Digital Magnifier Shipping & Handling:

Shipping rates for desktop digital magnifiers vary by product weight. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. There will be no shipments outside of the state of Ohio for desktop digital magnifiers. If you live outside of Ohio and wish to purchase a desktop digital magnifier, please contact Cleveland Sight Center at (216) 791-8118 ext. 7339 or (877) 776-9563 ext. 7339 and we will put you in touch with a representative in your area. Please note these units may be heavy.

Back Orders:

B.O. means an item is on order from the manufacturer. It can sometimes take several weeks for items to arrive at the Eyedea Shop; therefore, in the event that the merchandise you purchase is on back order, we will notify you via email as to the date you can expect to receive your order.

Damaged Shipment:

Should your item arrive damaged, a replacement item will be shipped upon receipt of the damaged item. If the item is returned for any other reason, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed. Shipping and handling costs are NOT refundable.

Ohio State Residents:

Residents in the state of Ohio are subject to applicable sales tax, including tax on the shipping and handling fee.
